Mark Stone AM, the former Chief Executive of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tourism Victoria and Parks Victoria, has been appointed the Chairman of Davidson’s Client Advisory Board.
Mark has held many notable executive positions and a number of seats on prominent boards and committees, with groups such as Tourism Australia, Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Victorian Aboriginal Economic Board, to name a few. Thanks to his leadership within the business community and his extensive philanthropic work, Mark received an Order of Australia in 2016.
Drawing on his vast expertise and strategic leadership across business, tourism, public policy, not-for-profit and natural resource management, Mark will work with the national team to develop a number of service offerings for organisations to enhance their workplace performance in a post-COVID environment.
Davidson Group CEO Bruce Davidson welcomed Mark to the team and said it was a great opportunity to work together to assist companies and government bodies as they navigate the new requirements of a workplace.

Mark said joining Davidson was an easy decision due to his longstanding relationship with the team and his admiration for their innovative and agile thinking around new solutions and offerings for companies to improve their workplace performance.
“My past eight years at the Chamber was about helping businesses succeed, create more jobs and lead economic development,” Mark said.
“Now, more than ever, Australia needs to focus on re-skilling people, reconnecting and looking at how the workplace will continually need to evolve to respond to a different working environment.
“This means businesses will need to look at the whole spectrum from their culture to how the business will look, feel and where they will focus their attentions in the future. To achieve this, this they will need a workforce which is inspired, productive and innovative.
“Davidson is well-known for their remarkable work in attracting the best talent to lead organisations or to be part of executive teams. They also have the right solutions to identify high performing businesses and helping other businesses be like them.
“They are also in a space to be able to analytically go in and do a deep dive into a business to see where there is room for improvement,” Mark said. “It’s these three key areas which I look to expand and evolve in my new role.”
