Martin Searle is driven to build the largest and most professional Interim Practice in Australia while providing options to experienced executives and connecting clients with utilization of talent and experience which provides major competitive benefits to clients.

This passion and commitment has been welcomed at Davidson since Martin joined the NSW team as Partner – Interim Executive in May 2019.

Martin has built a reputation during his years in recruitment for his impressive commercial intuitiveness and executive experience.

Previously Martin was part of the Executive Team (GM Professional  Services), listing SAI-Global in 2003, was on the Executive Team for the sale of the $850 million Bartter-Steggles business in 2009 and was most recently a Partner in Interim Management with Watermark Search. He has also served in roles as Interim CEO and GM of Professional Services.

Martin has a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology and Politics) from Macquarie University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Sydney and is a graduate of The Wharton School’s HR Strategic Planning Program.

He was a finalist for the Human Capital Magazine’s HR Director of the Year (2004-5) and was a guest international judge at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Awards in Dubai in 2005.

Martin is a passionate fan and advocate of contemporary music with no hipster up-and-coming band or performer known to miss his radar to date, while also being an enthusiastic boxer. He has also spent time volunteering with Mental Health Carers NSW and the Association of the relatives and Friends of the Mentally Ill.
