Reporting to the Executive Director Education, the Director Further Learning, Koorie and Multicultural is accountable for developing contemporary strategies and designing new and exciting programs around VCAL, English Language program, Koorie program and other programs to meet our diverse Multicultural community and individual students requirements. This role will also be required to design customised programs to meet the specific needs of local industries and communities. At GOTAFE, we aspire to deliver quality best practice vocational education and training solutions and as the Director, you will work collaboratively to co-design the best approach to deliver on that promise. Furthermore, you will lead, motivate and empower a multidisciplinary team while enhancing team collaboration across the broader organisation.
To be considered for this opportunity, GOTAFE are seeking a passionate, innovative and entrepreneurial leader with demonstrated industry experience (VET or Higher Education ideally coupled with a background working in or supporting Further Learning, Koorie and/or Multicultural Communities). You need to be passionate about making a difference to a student’s learning journey. You will need to understand how systems and learning technologies can drive innovation and an enhanced student experience and have experience partnering with various stakeholders and developing contemporary, new or tailored programs. You will have demonstrated success empowering a culture of customer / student centricity and continuous improvement with strong community values and a passion for life-long learning in regional communities.
