Reporting to the newly appointed CEO, the GM City Environment will form a critical member of the executive leadership team. This unique opportunity will see you engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externally, looking to ensure that the physical infrastructure of the City enhances the quality of life for the community and its many visitors. Leading a highly capable team across a range of services including project delivery, transport, parks and environment you will promote a culture that drives innovation and is focused on maximising value for the organisation and community.
Key to your success will be proven leadership experience in complex service delivery organisations with both an operational and strategic focus. You will have led diverse teams across all aspects of the development and delivery of a range of projects and have a thorough understanding of procurement, financial management, contracts, OH&S legislation and the relationship between planning, construction, operations and asset management. You will possess strong communication skills that enable you to collaborate with the executive leadership team and the wider organisation and to ensure community engagement and stakeholder relationships are developed and enhanced. You are a motivational leader who is highly regarded for your ability to empower teams to deliver a higher level of performance and output to the community.
