Central Highlands Water (CHW) is a leading regional water corporation based in Ballarat, delivering high quality water, waste water and recycled water to more than 140,000 people. CHW provides fully integrated water services, in a true “catchment-to-tap-to-catchment” approach. Reporting to the Managing Director, the GM People and Safety will drive exceptional performance through fostering a high-performance culture and leading organisational change. You will lead organisational culture initiatives, programs and leadership development, fostering collaboration and teamwork and provide strong strategic support to the other Divisions across the Business This will include re-design and delivery of programs and initiatives that contribute towards CHW’s agreed strategic direction and priorities with a strong focus internally, with CHW contractors and stakeholders . A critical part of this role is to develop and drive strategy while having a clear focus on long term continuous improvement.   

With tertiary qualifications in human resources, business administration or a related field, you will have experience leading cultural change in complex organisations. Proven ability to lead the development and implementation of complex and sensitive projects together with your creative mindset and the ability to lead, manage and motivate employees to their full potential will ensure you deliver successfully. With a mix of operational and strategic experience, you will have demonstrated experience coaching organisational leaders to support and implement change. Your extensive experience in strategic, tactical and operational work related to People and Safety will underpin your ability to drive positive change in the business and drive excellence in performance. You bring a level of passion about the critical work you do and your professionalism will be the cornerstone of helping Central Highlands Water achieve ongoing success.
