Knox requires an innovative, strategic and experienced leader to join their leadership team as Manager Operations. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Operations team within the Engineering & Infrastructure Directorate and take the functional area to the next level of performance and expand the value the area provides for the community.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Infrastructure and leading a large workforce, you will create a culture that embraces change and takes a progressive and contemporary approach to delivering services. This will involve driving new ways of working to achieve greater outcomes and empowering the workforce to create new solutions for the changing nature of their work.
As a key leader within the organisation, you will work collaboratively across the business and bring your perspective to the table to achieve collective outcomes with the community’s best interest at the heart of every decision. You will bring exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong productive relationships both internally and externally. Your supportive leadership style, robust negotiating skills and ability to analyse the state of our business will be the catalyst for a successful career at Knox City Council in this critical leadership role.
