People and Culture has a critical part to play as Ipswich City Council seeks to drive a program of transformation which will result in services being delivered to the community in an efficient and modern way. This senior HR position will lead the areas of Organisational Capability, HR and Business Partnering, Industrial Relations, Business Support, Payroll and HRIS and WHS and Wellbeing and the teams that operate in those areas. You will be expected to bring a robust framework around performance improvement and therefore driving demonstrable outcomes.
You will be a senior HR leader who thrives on the complexity and scale that exists within Council. In previous roles you have demonstrated the ability to influence across a large organisation and drive and implement HR strategies. You will be comfortable leading Industrial Relations matters including EBA’s, overseeing organisational development and culture change programs as well as a rigorous approach to Workplace Health and Safety.
