Job Description

Brisbane Catholic Education is committed to learning outcomes for over 72,000 young people in 141 Schools across south-east Queensland. Ingrained in the organisation’s faith-filled values is their mission to educate, challenge and transform learning outcomes through high-quality teaching and service-delivery. In the current climate of funding changes and a call for choice in education, BCE is proactively driving a transformation agenda to ensure it is in the best position to respond to the ever-evolving educational landscape.

As one of the three senior executives of the organisation, this newly created position of Strategy and Performance Executive will be instrumental in leading the group-wide transformation agenda, developing and implementing an organisational strategy that is responsive to continuous change. With a focus on transparency and accountability, you will lead a team committed to driving strengthened governance and quality assurance, excellence in service delivery, enhancing school centricity, and strengthening the overarching BCE Brand.  A focus on measuring performance will see you driving better capture and use of data to inform a continuous improvement strategy, ensuring BCE builds a sustainable and best-in-class system of catholic schools for now and into the future.

To be successful in this critical role, you will have experience in developing and implementing a large organisational strategy during a time of transformation and renewal. You will have foundations in governance, quality and performance measurement in a large customer-centric, services organisation. Your previous experience in an executive role will have developed your technical and behavioural skills in navigating a complex, multi-layered stakeholder environment.
