The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre is one of Victoria's largest not for profit organisations that supports people impacted by sexual assault and women and children impacted by family violence. As a highly respected support organisation, the SAFV Centre offers a full suite of services that are informed by feminist philosophy and that are empowering, respectful and inclusive. With a dedicated, passionate and highly experienced team of professionals, the SAFV Centre is uniquely positioned in the Barwon Multidisciplinary Centre and works collaboratively with other agencies to provide an integrated and holistic response to victims of sexual offences, family violence and child abuse.

The Executive Manager Client Services will provide strategic leadership and inspire a large team across the portfolios of Therapeutic Services, Integrated Response and The Orange Door. With advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of trauma informed care, the EM Client Services will ensure the delivery of high quality services, as well as identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery, lead innovation, build an evidence base and implement new services. Enhancing external partnerships, including community based organisations, industry partners, funding partners (eg DHHS) and emergency services will be essential for the delivery of exceptional support services at the SAFV Centre.

The EM Client Services will be a collaborative, supportive and innovative leader, inspiring and developing a high performing, inclusive and knowledgeable team. With strong influencing, negotiating and relationship building skills, the EM Client Services will have experience leading in complex/multidisciplinary and specialist areas within the health, social or welfare industry.

A strong understanding of compliance and organisational performance requirements is essential, as is the ability to produce high quality documents, reports and policies. A graduate or post graduate qualification in psychology, social work or related disciplines will be highly regarded as will a sound knowledge of the not for profit sector and government departments.
