The South Eastern Melbourne PHN (SEMPHN) is a values driven, for benefit social enterprise that has a focus on improved health care for the community, so that we all have access to the right care, in the right place, at the right time. SEMPHN work to achieve this vision through improving access to existing services, commissioning new services to improve health outcomes and encouraging those in the sector to innovate and further improve local health offerings. With a catchment that ranges from St Kilda to Sorrento and Bunyip to Clayton, SEMPHN has a focus on priorities that includes Mental Health, Alcohol and other Drugs, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, Aged Care, Population Health and Digital Health.

The GM Service Innovation will be part of a collegiate and passionate executive team, providing strategic, innovative and operational leadership and ultimately will be responsible for bringing the commissioning principles to life. Leading and inspiring highly dynamic and outcomes focused teams, the GM Service Innovation will embrace SEMPHN's organisational values (as they are at the heart of their work and shape what they do and how they do it). Building strong and trusted external partnerships that include the Department of Health, service providers and Department of Health and Human Services, will also be critical for the success of the Service Innovation team and SEMPHN.

As a collaborative, supportive and transformational leader, the GM Service Innovation will have experience in health service design, procurement and contract management. With strong problem solving, influencing and relationship building skills, the GM Service Innovation will also have experience in large project management (implementing and leading) as well as having a solid background in risk, commercial acumen and clinical governance of projects. A relevant tertiary qualification in business or related health area and a clinical qualification will be highly regarded.
