The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) plays an important role in the Victorian community in preventing road trauma, compensating people fairly and ultimately, helping people get their lives back on track after an accident. Aiming to lead the world in social insurance, the people at the TAC are passionate about working with our clients, providers and stakeholders to improve the trauma system and enable injured Victorians to rehabilitate. In addition, the TAC works closely with the Transport Department, Victorian Police, the Department of Justice and all road safety partners to reduce the incidence and severity of road trauma.
WorkSafe Victoria is the state's occupational health and safety regulator and workplace injury insurer. WorkSafe's purpose is to reduce workplace harm and improve outcomes for injured workers. Working with diverse and committed stakeholders including, unions, employers, and providers, WorkSafe delivers community value by reducing the social and economic costs of workplace injuries and illness.
IT Shared Solutions (ITSS) is a collaborative division that delivers IT services across both TAC and WorkSafe Victoria.
This is a unique role as the only Executive with a dual accountabilities, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer at TAC and the Executive Director, Operations at WorkSafe, the Head of Information Technology Shared Solutions is an active member of both Executive Leadership Teams. It is a critical role in driving efficiency, synergy and strategically developing the future systems and technology plans for both organisations. Together with the support of your high performing and well respected team, you will ensure effective implementation, support and enhancement of business system applications and information technology infrastructure portfolios.
Recognised as a forward thinking and innovative leader, you bring a proven track record as a CIO or senior technology executive. Importantly in this role, you have worked in complex environments delivering support to multiple stakeholders, ideally understanding the shared services model of operating. You pride yourself on your fluid and flexible working style, exceptional interpersonal skills and proven experience around the Board and executive table. You possess the natural ability to developed strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externally. This role will require highly developed analytical and conceptual skills and the proven experience in the successful implementation of major IT programs.
