With their head office located in Footscray and other major offices located in Dandenong and Bendigo, our client provides a vital service to a large proportion of vulnerable Victorians. Following a recent restructure, the new role of Head of Legal and Professional Services now exists and would suit a legal professional who is used to operating in a regulated environment and who cares about making a difference to the Victorian community.
As the Head of Legal and Professional Services, this role will provide empowering leadership to the teams that enhance and protect their client's financial wellbeing including: taxation; financial planning; litigation; estate confirmation/ total permanent disability; conveyancing. Furthermore, as a senior leader within the organisation, this role will provide strategic foresight, operational agility and will focus on collaborating across the whole organisation to positively impact how clients are positioned financially now and into the future.
To ensure success in this role, our client is seeking a contemporary legal professional who has an engaging style and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. You are known for your collaborative style and your deep commitment to customer and community. You demonstrate experience leading large complex teams and are highly regarded for your staff leadership capabilities, particularly your ability to empower and motivate and to instill innovation and continuous improvement into your teams. A background in personal injury law is desired, but not essential.
Requiring a Degree in Law and a current Victorian Practicing Certificate coupled with experience working in a highly regulated environment, this is a fantastic opportunity for an executive wanting to make a real difference to the Victorian community.
