At the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) our mission is to be the world's leading social insurer, and to keep all Victorians safe on our roads. We are passionate about our purpose and our vision, which is crystal clear - 'people's life and health should never be the price we pay for using our roads'. This is why our organisation is taking a bold new approach to Marketing and Communication, one that will create compelling new campaigns and initiatives to achieve behavioural change and reduce trauma in Victoria. We support the careers and wellbeing of our staff, which is evidenced in our engagement survey results showing 96% of employees feel proud to work for the TAC.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this newly created executive role will form a critical part of the TAC leadership team and take responsibility for producing communications that support the TAC in achieving its objective of reducing the road trauma. With a history of well recognised campaigns, you will drive further innovations in this area based on evidence and re-establish TAC as a leading and influencing organisation. With responsibility for the broader portfolio as well as marketing, you will also hold accountability for government relations, corporate affairs and legislation and policy.
Recognised as an innovative leader in marketing and communications, you bring a demonstrated experience in high profile campaigns and behaviour change. You pride yourself on your interpersonal skills and proven experience around the executive table, which has seen you confidently working to Boards and other senior stakeholders. You have managed tier one agencies in the past with significant budgets and understand the importance of remaining humble in a community oriented and values led organisation.
