Following an extensive organisational review, we are realigning how we work to deliver for our community. We have implemented a leadership model which serves the organisation and community from the perspectives of three key functions: Think, Do and Enable. MVCC is now seeking a Manager Aged & Disability to help improve community outcomes and ensure the organisation can deliver on the exciting ambitions in MV2040.
Reporting to the Director Service Delivery, the Manager Aged and Disability Services will lead a strategic best fit departmental service review followed by the development and delivery of two multiyear Council Strategies and action plans as well as associated operational policies. In doing this, the Manager will consider customer expectations, organisational priorities, risk mitigation, cost effectiveness and a commitment to quality to ensure MVCC provides contemporary state of the art services. The Manager will be responsible for the development and promotion of clear pathways for continuous improvement based on a community focused approach and Council's current and future operations. Furthermore, the Manager will build trusting and empathetic relationships with the workforce, unions and other key stakeholders and provide empowering leadership to their team.
