A rare vacancy now exists for a Manager Cultural Development to join Moreland City Council, to continue the strong delivery of services and programs while fostering innovative new ideas. As the Manager, you will embed robust library, arts and festival planning strategies and programs that support the changing needs and expectations of the Moreland community. You will ensure a collaborative and integrated approach across council in effectively delivering these services, programs and strategic directions.
Reporting to the Director Community Development, this is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with proven leadership experience in arts, culture and / or libraries within the public sector and who is particularly passionate about Moreland and their commitment to visual and performing arts, culture, events and libraries. You will demonstrate strong customer service values; a commitment to continuous improvement; and skills at forming credible partnerships and relationships with stakeholders both internal and external to your organisation. You will be highly regarded for your inspiring staff leadership and ability to drive and empower your team to deliver high quality outcomes within a positive organisational culture environment
