Reporting to the General Manager Corporate, this newly created role will suit a customer experience and communications expert who has an innovative nature and strong customer service values.

With a focus on enhancing the reputation of Council through effective communications while improving business and strategic processes through business transformation, the Customer and Communications Manager will lead the development and implementation of contemporary "customer first" marketing and communication strategies.

The Manager will develop impactful and robust engagement tactics to ensure relationships are built, strengthened and maintained with multiple stakeholder groups to further enhance a positive brand for Moira Shire Council.

Furthermore, you will draw on your impactful staff leadership to manage and drive efficiencies in the customer experience, business improvement, service planning and communication functions.

Furthermore you will demonstrate a proven ability to drive transformational change through outstanding organisational and staff leadership skills.
