An exciting opportunity has become available for a Strategic Workforce Planner to join the Organisational Development (OD) function. Reporting to the Director of OD, the role will own the enterprise workforce planning process and, through a data driven and forward thinking mindset, develop and implement the required framework. Through leveraging data analytics, this key position will build and manage predictive models to proactively inform action planning and provide key insights to a broad audience across the organisation. Playing a pivotal role in the ongoing development and implementation of Eastern Health's People Strategy (2018 - 2022), the Strategic Workforce Planner will ensure a high performing and engaged workforce now and into the future, establishing a fit for purpose Change Management capability and mitigating talent risks through an evolving talent and succession planning process.
The successful candidate will be a data driven and proven Strategic Workforce Planner, with an ability to provide insights on talent supply & demand models and talent gaps to diverse stakeholder groups. With demonstrated experience establishing, implementing and scaling processes within an organization, you will have excellent project management skills, and an ability to communicate change and ensure positive business outcomes. Experience or exposure to broader Organizational Development responsibilities such as Talent and Succession Planning and Organizational Design is advantageous, but not essential. With a collaborative and team focused approach, you will demonstrate a true passion for ensuring organizations have the right people, in the right place, at the right time. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role and a degree in Human Resources/Organizational Psychology or a related discipline is required.
Due to current COVID restrictions, this role will be on boarded remotely and be a working from home arrangement until it is deemed safe to return to work at Eastern Health's office, located in Box Hill
